    Ive been using Format factory to convert vob to avi file but the results are really poor,very jittery.Is there any way I can fix this or do I need to try different software.Im aiming for avi files of about 500*340.Can anyone recommend different software.Im looking for one that'll shut down computer after completion.Thanks in advance

    what are you trying to do?
    sometimes, you can just change the extension from vob to mpeg and go from there
    but we need to know what you're trying to do
    onunload=this(!)flush;

    Try AutoGK. It supports batch mode (job queue) and can shutdown when it's finished.
