    I have a JVC Everio camcorder and have deleted all the files from the hard drive. Since making this mistake I havent recorded any other files over the top of them. Does anyone know the best way to recover these files or can recommend any good software (preferably shareware !) for this type of file recovery?

    Removing the hard drive from the recorder would be the first step.
