Greetings, please pardon my ignorance, I'm good on digital photography, new to video DVD production.
My goal is to create a DVD with the primary video/audio track intact but "overlayed" with supplemental audio from another recording.
Final version would have a slideshow, then show the performance.
Vid Cam = Canon XL2, I did a DVD record onto a DVD recorder deck (digital Video in) - Master tape 1 - good audio but has silent sections.
I want to fill in the silent sections with good audio from another DVD.
I have Nero 9 and an old version of Adobe Premiere Pro (2003) but it does not import the DVD files from the new DVD-R.
What tools & processes should I use to combine all the right stuff? What forum should I be posting in?
Thanks for your help,
Jim
