Hello
I have been trying to burn a DVD that I have downloaded to a disc to watch on my Television. It contains a Video_TS file and an Audio_TS file. I burnt it several times using the normal windows burn, and also with the X2X Free Video burner, but it does not work at all.
I then used DVD Flick to burn it and inserted the downloaded folder into it. When it was being read, it said of two of the VOB files
"A Thumbnail cannot be generated. This usually means the file is damanged or truncated"
and then the lengths of the files were given as -1 seconds
(NOTE - I played these two files to check their lengths. The actual length of the file is about 41.53, but the player's I checked it on (VLS, GOM) said the length was 25.30.05 (which is not the length)
The IFO and BUP files were also 'not readable'
I then tried to rip one of the burned DVDs (which were not watchable) to my harddrive to try and see if I could burn it from the file, but while it was ripping, it said that there were bad sectors.
BUT, when I insert the DVD into my computer, Windows media player automatically starts playing it, and it works fine.
I would really appreciate it if someone could please help me out with this, as it is almost driving me crazy! Thank you very much in advance

	JUNK.
 Use ImgBurn

Stop messing with the files inside the VIDEO_TS folder. The VIDEO_TS folder is your DVD and the individual files are virtually useless on their own....especially to a newbie.

A sign of using garbage discs or garbage burning software(see above).

If it works in your computer....but not on your DVD player(attached to your television) you most likely have a PAL format DVD on your hands.....PAL format video and America just don't mix(easily).

If something is trying to make "thumbnails", it's doing the wrong thing.

 Anyway, get Imgburn.
 Select "Write files/folders to disc"
Choose "Destination" your burner, with a blank DVD in it.
Choose the VIDEO_TS folder. (Ignore the AUDIO_TS, that should be empty).
Click the green triangle to burn.
 Play the DVD.
