    Anyone know if this burner is any good? It's the burner that comes built in the HP Touchsmart 600 PC... I Just got some JVC Taiyo Yuden 16x DVD-R printables (TYG03)... and was wondering if this particular burner will burn well to these discs?

    Those are common enough discs, so likely it has the firmware needed. I'd just try it and see. If not, see if there is a firmware update. I'd use ImgBurn for the burning part. It should tell you a bit more about the burner and the discs.

    Its a kinda good slimtype burner!
    But as always with these kind of drives, the firmware counts next to the chosen disks.

    Does HP offer firmwares?
