I'm a total newbie to video conversion and every time I try to do this I have to reinvent the wheel. That said, I'm trying to convert an FLV to MP4 for my phone using ripbot. When I get the final video, it works, but the video is speeding by (so, obviously, it's out of sync with the sound).
I'm guessing it's a frame rate issue, but I really have no idea. Can anyone suggest what I might need to change? Right now I'm just changing the video setting for "mobile devices" and the audio setting to "96 kbps." I haven't changed anything else.
Thanks for any and all help you can offer!

What is the source frame rate? Identify using mediainfo.
And I assume you have tried other converters, like ipodme, xmedia recode, handbrake and just choose the iphone profile and convert. -
My phone isn't an iphone... But I suppose it'll probably work just fine. I'll give all that a try and report back!
Thanks! -
Great.
Sorry for the iphone confusion....but as long as it works....
