Okay so i don't know a TON about how all the numbers work with this stuff so i'm kind of looking for some of you to give me feedback on this idea...
I'd like to have 3 cameras, recording to tape, as well as feeding to a video mixer. The audio is picked up by two wireless microphones strategically placed (as well as a couple 'room mics' (sm58's most likely) to an audio mixer and then one main audio feed into video mixer as well).
From the video mixer, one video and one audio feed is sent to a DVR where it records the broadcast. It comes out of the DVR to the computer via HDMI where that is streamed live to a site like Livestream or something where they're responsible for how many viewers are allowed be viewing live at any given time.
Now that being said...
1. what kind of an upload speed am I going to need? I think wiring it this way I could record in HD but stream in a lesser quality right?
2. Am I correct in thinking that I don't need to worry about making sure i have enough bandwidth to support however many viewers decide to tune in?
3. Does anything in that sound whacked to anyone? lol
Your knowledge and feedback are greatly appreciated!
