  1. Well i am trying to convert the Spiderman SVCD which is 3CD's over to my DVDr...

    1. I use VCDGear to extract the all 3 .mpg files and i check fix the MPEG Errors in VCDGear..

    2. Had a problem with TMPGenc merging all 3 files, it would come out 20 mintues short??? Tried Demuxing all 3 .mpg first also and muxing back and still the same problem.. Then is used M2-Edit Professional Edition and that worked on muxing the original 3 mpgs i extracted with VCDgear..

    3. Now i have one big Spiderman .mpg and when i demux it in both M2Edit and TmpgEnc the sound track in 2 seconds longer than the video track???? It plays fine at the beginning of the movie but once it gets to where the 2 cd was muxed the sound in out of synch..

Is there something i can do to fix this?? this is the first SVCD movie i tried to convert over to DVDr... Could it be something wrong with the SVCD movie itself?????

or is it something wrong with me... lol

The other thing i was thinking is just to demux the 3 original .mpgs and author that way.. but there seems to be a pause when switching from movie1 to movie2? I am using Spruce DVDmaestro 2.9. There is a pause when i test it with PowerDVD.... i figure it would do the same on my Exteneral DVD player... but i have not tried...

Any suggestions about joining them may create 3 seperate .vobs then join the .vobs. i dont know so if anyone could offer any suggestions on how to get the 3 .mpgs to play seamless would be appreciated.

  3. I converted Spiderman (and lots of others) using Maestro with no re-encode and it works great! I used these tutorials, originally written for "Lord of the Rings"...

The only problem is, since the original MPEGs are PAL, it won't play on all players. If you want to re-encode to NTSC, try this method...
