    It isn't a video for sale or anything, I just want to be able to play it anytime I want and eventually the link will go away. I have tried downloading, (protected site), screen capture (but such low quality) and a few others things. Any ideas?

    Have you tried Stream Transport? - it works for me for most sites and is simple enough to use.
    Once downloaded (and being lazy) I use Format Factory to convert to the format of choice and thus
    I have video ready to play anywhere any tieme.

    Both utils are FREE which is a double bonus
