I read on dpreview that the D5000 does not have the auto focus feature, BUT the D5000 which is on sale at Walmart WITH the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR Lens, DOES have Autofocus, right?? This is basically the only difference between the MUCH more expensive D90 (also, the D90 has 3 in LCD vs. 2.7 on the d5000).

Another reason to stay the HELL away from DPReview. Completely WRONG information. WRONG name(Nikon, not Sony) and WRONG Autofocus information(of course the Nikon D5000 has autofocus)....you just need to use the newest Nikon lenses....the older lenses will not autofocus on the D5000, or the D3000, or the D40....and a few more.

Good, so I see really no difference between the D90 and the D5000 other than price (D5000 much cheaper), looks (D90 looks hotter), and the slight LCD size difference (3.0-D90 vs. 2.7-D5000). I will get the D5000 then. I will get a telephoto lens as well as the 18-55mm standard lens they throw in.
