    Thinking of iPOD docks on, clock radios, is there a cable that will let you plug one end into the ipod receiver(so the end of this would be ipod female) and have a usb female at the other end so you could use a usb flash drive with mp3's on it.

    What I really want is a clock radio with ability to wake to usb flashdrive mp3.

    Devices that provide iPod connectivity actually expect to see an iPod attached, not just a disk with mp3 files on it. You would need to find something that is built to read USB drives specifically. Maybe something like this ?
