    Can I set the default video encoder settings to a custom preset so that I don't have to load my preset after adding each new video? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. I searched the forum and didn't find anything.

    The current ffmegX interface doesn't allow that kind of customizing. However, see if Quick Batcher can aid your workflow for encodings that use the exact same settings.
