    Desperate for a slice of Google's 1 Gigabit fiber, Topeka Mayor Bill Bunten yesterday signed a proclamation calling for Topeka to be known as Google, Kansas — the capital city of fiber optics.
    i suppose we should be thankful that they weren't desperate for some sack across the face, then it would be Tea Bag, Kansas.

    In a related fashion - So is there still a city called "JOE" Montana these days? Didn't they change it for the football star?
