  1. How does 3GP file size compare to mp4 and avi file sizes for the same codec (e.g. H.264)?

    The file size is the same if you same bitrate. Do you mean how the video quality compare?

    Minimal. Assuming the video and audio are encoded with the same bitrates, the only difference will be the overheads for the container, which will be pretty small in this case.
