    Hi,

    I have ripped a dvd from the disc to HDD using dvdshrink but despite my choosing region free setting , I have been unable to remove RCE protection and whenever I am tryng to play with Powerdvd I get the message "This disc is not formatted to play in this region". Is there a way I can remove RCE protection from the backed up dvd.Please advise.

    Use a ripper that wasn't outdated 6 years ago?

    ....or were you playing with the DVDShrink settings?
