hi. I have converted a home video (already in mpeg2 format) into vcd compliant format (ntsc, 29 fps ) using tpmgenc.
I made a vcd bin/cue file using VCDEasy. I burnt this using cdrwin. It plays fine on my computer but causes audio jitter and skipping when i play it on my toshiba dvd standalone (which can play cd-r , cd-rw according to the manual).
I welcome any help or insight.

I've had a similar problem. My Pioneer HTD-510 plays VCD's and SVCD's that I make just fine. However, when I tinker with the bitrate (to make an xsvcd for example), it starts hiccuping.
Any thoughts?
