Hi,
does anyone else have experiences in encoding SVCD skiing videos - lots of flat white areas and also fast movements - with cce 2.62 and 2.64. I have been testing both versions and have not been able to create even a reasonable result with 2.62. With 2.64 everything seems to be perfect, the flat areas are sharp and very little artifacts.
With 2.62 I tried different luminance range, DC levels, matrices, but nothing seems to create good results. Is the encoder of the 2.64 really this much better?

Figured out the reason: I was using avisynth->VFAPI->CCE to resize the video to 480x576 and seems that avisynth with 2.62 it is not possible to achieve expected results. When frameserving from tmpgenc->VFAVI->CCE 2.62 the result seems to be ok, execpt that tmpgenc is slow in resizing even if no filters are used.
Is there any way I would be able to use avisynth->VFAPI->CCE 2.62 so that the quality of the video would be ok?
