Ive downloaded inthe region of 30 odd vvideo files in Divx with mp3 sound from the net using morpheus. All of these files have worked fine in WMP 7.0, The Playa and ATI Mulitmedia Center.

However I have downloaded a few files where the sound has not worked in any progam listed above. When opened in WMP7.0 it tries to connect to a codec server, then gives up and just plays the video file.

When i checked the file summary for this video file the sound format is listed as 'windows media audio file v2.0'

I have had a look on the Microsoft site at details of the codecs and it states that WMP 7.0 comes with 'windows media audio file v7.0.' It goes on to say that this version does support v2.0 audio.

however I still cannot get it to play in any of the 3 programs listed and cant find anyway to download the codec.

As stated previously 30 odd other .avi files all with mp3 sound work in each of the programs.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated
