Hi all.
Super quick question. I recently upgrade from Windows XP (SP3) to Win7 (all updates done).
I use Dvd_Flick to convert my media into dvd format.
On my same PC while I had WinXP, a 700mb media would only take 22-25 min max to complete.
Now that I have Win7 as my OS, that same 700mb media is taking almost 1hr.
Any idea why is that?
Thanks all.

I haven't used DVD Flick on a W7 system yet. DVD Flick uses ffmpeg for encoding, so perhaps that version of ffmpeg isn't happy. You may have to wait for a new update with a newre version of ffmpeg to resolve it.

I use AVStoDVD, which does pretty much everything DVD Flick does, and then some, and uses HCEnc for encoding. I have not noticed any significant change in rendering speeds for HCEnc on W7.Read my blog here.
