I became interested in this program because of it's ability to create HD-DVD's on DVD5 and DVD9 DVDr's. It does produce files that will play on my HD-DVD player,HD-A20 and HD-A3 with 4.0 firmware. It's nice to be able to back-up new BR movies to play on my HD-DVD players. The program does work but I'm having two problems.
1.) according to the authors website it uses 3xDVD to create HD-DVD's. The file structure it creates is very different than a normal HD-DVD. I notice when playing on my players if you interupt linear play for any reason or even enter setup the player will lock up in 2-3 minutes after resuming play and I have to unplug the power cable to restore player operation.
2.) I can't get chapter stops to work.
Are these typical for this program?

Yes, chapters are not supported. I don't know about the other problem but basically multiAVCHD creates 'standard/simple' HD-DVD output, not ADVANCED as you noticed the difference already. Laugh and the world will laugh with you. Cry and you will be alone
