an artist that actually gets it, there seems to be so few of them. this is one of the reasons i like this chick, i've seen a few interviews she has done and she seems to be down to earth with her head screwed on right. there was a story recently that she had disguised her appearance over the summer (worn baseball caps, no makeup, loose clothing, a back pack) and using her real name had enrolled and taken college courses at UCLA (i think) over the summer and she just blended in, supposedly not even her prof didn't realize who she was.

have to like this chick, i think i'll pick up one of her cd's...
