I have Philips DVP3380/12 DVD player and plasma LG 42PQ1000 (720p) and I would like to play High Definition 720p AVI by USB (of course not by DVD because is not Blue Ray) just to see how it is on this plasma.
First of all, is it possible ?
If yes, where can I find these AVI files ?
DVD player reads DIVX version 6 (not 7) and not MKV. I think I have to find video in DIVX6 with 720p resolution... please help me !

It can probably only upscale video to 720p and not play source video files in HD.

It could be, but I would like to find an AVI HD 720p to see if it is playable on it.Originally Posted by Baldrick

I think that if I find an AVI divx versione 6 container whit NO H264 video track, with 720p resolution, it plays...

This DVD player won't play HD AVI, but you can try if you wish. It won't work.Originally Posted by albertomtb

You can get 720p Divx or Xvid files on P2P sites or some Usenet groups.Originally Posted by albertomtb
