    They are from a vhs tape i have. Unfortunately, a power outage stopped the capturing of the second part, only 11 minutes long. I wanna merge it with the first part, 2 hours and 10 minutes long. What's the best technique?

    Try avidemux, open first mpg and append the other, under video and audio choose copy, save as a mpg.

    Or get videoredo or mpegvcr to join, the best mpg editors around but they are not free then.
