    Hey!!!
I have a movie with hard-coded Russian subtitles
Now when I want to play with English subtitles
    BOTH GETS SUPER-IMPOSED

Now I want to disable the Russian subtitles
    and enable the English subtitles.
    "But without any conversion"

    Is this possible any how

    THNKX.

  2. Not if they are encoded.

What I do is just zoom in until those subs get pulled off screen. Ones I want should display on top.

As handyguy said, if the Russian subtitles are hardcoded, they're a part of the video data - encoded into it - and can't be turned off/disabled. You could blur them or encode black bars or such over them, but that will most likely make the video look worse (you would also have to reencode, and therefore lose more quality in the video in the process).

Perhaps if your player's subtitle support allows it, you could set it to display subtitles with a black background, so it would be a little more readable against the video+Russian subtitles.

    Thnkx Ai Haibara...

How can I change the position of those subtitles??
to move them to "black background"

So that english subtitles are visible on the movie.

It would depend on your player, usually. I thought you were trying to mask the Russian subtitles, so, since the English subs were already appearing over the Russian subs, having them display on a full black background (white text, black background (not transparent), for example) would make them easier to read.

I am using Media Player (K-Lite) and VLC

The hard-coded Russian subtitles and the English
    subtitles are "superimposing" each other..

Is it possible that the player would shift any of the subtitles whether English or Russian below, so that I can easily view the other one easily.. ??

    Thnkx.

  7. You can change sub position viewing in kmplayer, right click=> subtitles menu => subtitle alignment

For MPC + DirectVOBSub , if you click the green arrow, you can adjust position as well (override placement)
