    The ASF2VC1 application converts a wmv to vc1, are there any tools to do the reverse? I've tried SolveigMM ASF Multiplexer with no luck.

    Do you mean raw vc1 stream ?

    If so, wrap the vc1 into .m2ts with tsmuxer first, then use solveig on the .m2ts

    If your video is interlaced vc1 you may have issues.

    The free version I'm using is SMMASF_2006_03_02 , google for it

    I tried as you've suggested but I keep getting a "failed to build directshow filter graph" error when selecting either the .m2ts or .vc1 input stream.

    Do you have WMP11 installed, or WMV3/WVC1 enabled in the ffdshow configuration? You may need haali media splitter installed as well
