I've successfully ripped the 2 sides of a "flipper" DVD. I'd like to join the 2 sides together as a single file. After this I would like to either burn it to a DVD+R DL disc, or to shrink it to a suitable size to burn to a single-layer DVD.

I know how to do everything except join the 2 sides to a single file. How do I do this?

  3. You mean DVDRemake Pro, don't you stiltman? He shouldn't need to encode and DVD-RB doesn't join DVDs anyway.

Do note that dual layer size is actually about 10% smaller than 2 times single layer size. If your 2 single sided discs are each close to filling up a single sided DVD, they'll be too big to fit on a dual layer disc. Just be aware that this could happen. You could also get lucky as each side might only be, say, 4 GB, which would easily fit when joined together.
