i am trying to connect my sony DV handycam to my standalone philips DVD recorder that firewire (ILINK) but my DVD recorder is not detecting the camera. The same camera i use on my PC through 1934 connection and it works fine . Plz tell me why me phiulips dvd recorder is not detecting my handy cam .
