Hey folks,
when I had trouble with VCDs and hires stills with audio on a Panasonic RV31, vitualis pointed out that my method of creating menus (multiplexing together a bitmap and an audio file using TMPGEnc) was noncompliant and pointed me to the following URL:
http://www.geocities.com/mikk999/StillsWithAudio.htm
That method worked great. Everything worked wonderfully after that.
HOWEVER, when I tried the same method on an SVCD, the resulting SVCD played fine in my computer, but not in my Pioneer 343. In my Pioneer the still image appears on the screen for less than a second and then the screen goes black and THEN the audio starts playing.
I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Do VCDs and SVCDs handle still images with audio differently?
