    Hi,
In PgcEdit, is it possible to recover a pgc playback, in a vmgm, that has been killed but not deleted?
The restore back-up did not restore the playback.
I also looked at IfoEdit. I could find the pgc in question but it is far too complicated for me. For instance has it got something to do with "Pg Playback Mode", which is set to 0, or the "Command Nr", which is also set to 0?
    Looking forward ot your help.

  2. Were there several backup files, or just one? If you restore a backup, it restores the most recent backup, but if you killed playback before that backup was created, then you don't get back the PGC. If there's more than one backup, try moving all the later ones to a safe place leaving only the first or oldest one, and then try and restore the backup.

If you can still see PGC in question, just rebuild commands leading to it, it will play.

I fixed it so sorry to have bothered you.
There was a pre-command linking to the next Pgc, same as the post-command. Is it how PgcEdit does kills the playback?
So i just nopped it and the Pgc now plays again. I hope I did the right thing.
    I only had one back-up.

PgcEdit kills playback by making the post commands into pre commands and, optionally, removing the cell and converting it to a dummy. You can reallocate the post commands back, but will, of course, need to add the cell back if the PGC is now a dummy. Use Create Cell for this purpose.

Restoring backup should work. See the help file, but 1st restore the normnal backup, then the incremental backup(s) till you get back to where you want to be.

    Regards
    Les

Thanks for the tip because I would have done the opposite, last backup first
