I record game play of my Xbox 360 with a USB EASYCAP capture device and Windows Media encoder 9. The problem is that I want to play the game while recording the game play, but there's is no sound WHILE I am recording. I want to be able to play the game when its recording. When I playback the video file, the sound is fine and in sync. How do I make it so I could hear the sound and play my game??
***The delay isn't caused by the capture device because I used another program, Ulead Video Studio that plays the audio while recording and everything is perfect.... besides the fact that the program now lags terribly and always crashes. Which is why I'm looking for another program to use.

With USB devices you almost always have to capture with the vendor supplied software. Otherwise there is no audio.

Go to your audio properties> options > recording then select stereo mix or what you hear or any option resembling that, then try. If you use others sound will not pass through to all the applications.
