  1. I'm trying to create a miniDVD using separate audio and video tracks.
This is necessary because Spruce Up 1.1.06 needs them separated!
The video file is .m2v and the audio file is .ac3 (5.1).
The problem is that the audio is delayed of about 200ms, because it comes from DVD2AVI.

Is there a way to fix this delay or tell Spruce Up to take into account it?
    Any suggestion?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kim

If the original DVD had the audio delayed, it shouldn't be a problem in your new miniDVD. DVD2Avi doesnt *create* the delay; rather, it just brings it to your attention when naming the file.

Its funny you're aware of the delay in the original AC3 file. When DVD2Avi demuxes AC3 audio, it just names it the same as your D2V project file with sample rate info.

Go ahead and make your miniDVD -- burn it to CD-RW just in case theres a problem.

miniDVD is DVD-Video content burned to CD-R(W) instead of DVD general discs.

  4. After more than one test, I have to say that the delay cannot be ignored: infact if the .ac3 file extracted by DVD2AVI contains a significant delay (< 120ms) the resultant multiplexed .vob file produced by SpruceUp contains this delay and the movie cannot be seen at all (audio and video are not syncronised!)

So please, has anyone some idea treat with SpruceUp the delay in a .AC3 file?

    Thanks,
    Kim.
