  1. I have recorded a movie in my DVD-Handicam. Now, I need to edit the audio. The recorded audio is 5.1 channel audio. I need to convert it to 2 channel stereo without loss of movie portion. How do I split the video and audio and how do I convert that 5.1 channel audio to 2 channel stereo audio using free softwares?

    Please help.

Thank you guns1inger. With your help, I could able to complete the job successfully. Though I have done the job using some different programs but the your idea was perfectly helpful to me.

    I used
    1. DGIndex to Demux the video. Which split my video into two different streams of video (in m2v) and audio (in ac3).
    2. DAudioK to convert that ac3 audio into mp2
    3. DVDAuthorGUI to author the DVD using those m2v and mp2 files.

Thanks for you help once again.
