Hey all -
This site has great information, but I thought I would hop in here and ask where to start for some basics.
I have taken on a small project -
Capture game play on the PC and make it available on the web.
My current process has been to use FRAPS and then upload to YouTube. I am running into a quality issues and this is where I am stuck.
The Captures are awesome and large files, but it seems after I either convert them to Divx of Xvid and upload them, youtube does something?
Any advice of suggestions?
Thanks,
Andy

YouTube will always convert everything to their formats. Check some of the YouTube threads here for ways to optimize the files.

And gamerscircle, in the future please use a more descriptive subject title in your posts to allow others to search for similar topics. I will change yours this time. From our rules:Thanks,Try to choose a subject that describes your topic.
Please do not use topic subjects like Help me!!! or Problems.

Post a sample. You would expect quality to drop substantially when reduced to YouTube spec.

You can attach a small file below.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

red - will do, sorry about that... each time I got the subject line started, it got to wordy. <grin>

Then I assume that there is already a guide for Youtube posting? Can someone point me the way?

 thanks,
 Andy
