MKV Audio Dropouts

I'm getting these on some of movies on my new WD HD Media Player. I understand they are common w/MKV files. Can they be fixed and if so, where do I go for a tutorial/instructions/help with how to do so?

What is the audio in the mkv that has dropouts? Identify using MediaInfo. You might have to reconvert dts to ac3 for example.

Someone on AVS suggested tsmuxer, I converted to M2TS, that seems to have fixed the problem.

MediaInfo looks like a very useful program, however. Thanks.
