converting .avi to .dsm that will play on Nintendo DS with an acekard2

can anyone help me find a program that will convert an avi movie so it will play on acekard2 with out moonshell ie convert to a dsm

Method of encoding AVI/MPG file.

1. 'dsmtools12/dsmenc.exe' is executed.
2. The 'Language' menu is clicked.
3. '.ENG ...' item is clicked.
4. Drag and drop the movie file(s).
5. Please wait for encoding.
6. Created DSM file is copied onto CF/SD.


Unfortunately the link from the page I found this on was not valid anymore. It appears you need a program called dsmenc.exe. That should do what you need.

I'd google or yahoo for dsmenc.exe and you should have what you need. - it apparently needs a corresponding dsmplay zip file to be fully functional on the ds itself via the slot 1 card - or do a search for DSMTOOLS as shown in the how to list above - yes the link I copied is not valid but do a search for the program itself and you should get what you need.
