I have use Google Pages for a while and for the most part liked the way it worked. Since Google Pages will eventually be phased out I decided to try Google Sites and did not like it. It was way to restricted. You were basically limited to plain text, googles pre-allowed gadgets, and no embedded scripts.

I couldn't add a script for a paypal donation or a mailing list sign-up.

So no Google Sites for me. Any recommendations for a free website hosting service other than google (pages or sites) or yahoo?
