I have laptop with HDMI output and I have TV set with DVI input and multiple audio inputs.
I would like watch movies from my laptop. I can bring the picture using DVI2HDMI cable but I can not bring the sound because there are not other outputs (audio) on the laptop.
Is there any way to get DVI and audio signal from HDMI ouput?
Thanks, Igor

Normally you would use the headphone output to feed analog stereo. Or a dock that feeds AC3 over SPDIF.
Otherwise you would need an AC3 receiver that splits off audio. This won't work well if any HDCP blocks are triggered.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
