  1. Not just for quality but stability (my v 2.02 comes up with speckled screen and weird red characters at top of screen every now and again)

v 12a takes lot longer than 2.02, 2.51 is meant to be buggy!!

    Any suggestions?

  2. 12a may be the slowest of them all, but when it comes to compatibility with AVI and also ASF files for example, and quality, it's the best of them all.

12g might be the best when it comes to both quality and speed, but none of the newer versions have as high compatibility with AVI as 12a.
