    This is an extremley agitating problem I've been having with vegas. I accidentally move a window into the place where the preview video is, and it just ruins everything. I can't move it out/I don't know how.



    I want the Event Pan/Crop to be a window again. It should be simple, but I can't find out what to do.

    Click and hold over the column of dots (top left of the Event P&S window), then drag up until it becomes a window again. Pretty much all windows are dockable/undockable in Vegas using this process.

    If you hold down the CTRL key while dragging, you can move the window to whatever place you like. Without snapping in any other menu place.
