Can anybody help me troubleshoot this problem. I can't view .m2ts files from my SONY HDR-SR11E using the SONY "Picture Motion Browser". The files play back absolutely 100% correct on the camera's LCD screen but once imported to into my laptop...when I play them on the Sony "PictureMotion Browser", the lower half of the picture is solid green. I have Windows Vista.

    1) Your files could be getting corrupted during transfer to your PC. Try fixing with TsRemux or TsMuxer

    2) Your video drivers may need updating - http://www.guru3d.com

    3) Your version of DirectX might need to be upgraded - Windows Update

    4) You could have a corrupted codec. For playback of AVCHD in regular Windows Media Player, get a copy of CoreAVC - the pro version. It's the best $15 you'll spend on AVCHD software. http://www.coreavc.com/

  6. Soopa's 1,2, and 3 are all likely a waste of time for your particular issue. I have a similar camcorder and have had my own issues with Sony's player. The PMB installs with it some of its own codecs. If you have any codec pack installed, it may be causing a conflict.

For one, I had K-Lite's codec pack installed prior to the Sony software. It would seem that the Picture Motion Browser is not very happy with a few items in there, in particular, the Haali Media Splitter. If you have such a codec pack installed, you may want to try disabling bits of it (Haali for one) and retrying the PMB.
