Is there a way I can set a ringtone so when people call instead of hearing a tone beep, they actually hear a song? If i'm not by mistaken, it's call a caller ringtone...

so which phone have that feature?

I know that my last year instructor have that feature... I used to call him and when I call, I hear music instead of hearing that beep per 5sec. Couldn't ask him cause I no longer go to school since graudated.

On my LG, you just go into the number and set a different ringtone for that specific number. I think it's as simple as that which most phones with individual ringtones.

I think Conquest and Supreme have misunderstood your question.

You want the people calling you to hear a song instead of the normal 'ring' noise.
This has nothig to do with your phone.
It is called a ring-back tone and it depends on who is providing your service.
My sister has this and always picks the WORST songs. You have to listen to crappy music until she picks up.

Its called AnswerTunes or something like that on AT&T. Its not something your phone does its an option your carrier has to have. Some of them have the option then just advertise it well. Call your provider.

Oh.... right. Answer Tones is what its called. Forgot that thing existed. I've only run into that once. I don't recommend it. Might confuse the person calling you. When it happened to me I thought it had gone straight to Voicemail. I called again and it happened again and again I just hung up. Then I get an angry call back about calling and hanging up. There is no way of knowing that the phone is ringing.

T-Mobile has it too but don't know what they call it.

By default answer tones have a message on the front that says something like "please enjoy the music while you wait for the person you are calling to answer..."

I turn it off though because I enjoy confusion. You can just listen to some AFI instead.
