    Hi all,
    Looking for the best mkv to mp4 converter for my Apple TV to retain the 720p image quality. Currently I am using Videora (H.264 HDTV 720p 3072kbps Stereo/160kbps) which uses FFDSHOW underneath, but I am averaging 8 hours per 2 hours of video on a beefy machine. Does anyone know of anything faster? Thanks...

    Most mkv to converters are based on ffmpeg so I don't think you will find anything faster. You could try use ffmpeg manually or with winff to make a mp4 and see it makes any difference.
