OK ... I'm obviously doing something wrong. Hopefully what I want to do CAN be done. Here's the scenario.

I have a single menu that's "in motion" and lasts about 4 minutes. I want this menu to link to two different titles. Here are the makeups of all three M2V/AC3 pairs:

    Menu - 4:3 aspect ratio, 5500 video bitrate, 384k AC3 stereo.

    Title #1 - 16:9 aspect ratio, 5500 video bitrate, 384k AC3 stereo.

    Title #2 - 4:3 aspect ratio, 5500 video bitrate, 384k AC3 stereo.

I'm assuming I'll need 2 different titlesets based on the aspect ratio differences. But is it possible for one menu to choose between these 2 titlesets?

If anyone can figure out the XML needed for this, I'd appreciate seeing it. Thanks in advance.

  2. It can be done, but you need to create the xml code yourself (dvdauthorgui doesn't support different titlessets by itself).
    Have a look here:

Or try GfD (it supports different titlessets by default)

Thanks, borax. I tried GfD a while back but it was a bit too difficult for me to comprehend. However, it might be time for another trial. The price is right (grin). I've done multiple titlesets with DVDauthorGUI before ... but only when the video and/or audio of different titles used different bitrates. Never tried XMLing titlesets with different aspect ratios, though.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a whack.
