Howdy :
I have 2 AVI files - is possible to burn these as dual layer with Toast 7 on dual layer disc
when put into toast - it accepts both files - yet goes to yellow - part 1 and part 2 of same feature
like to keep on one disc if possible
not huge files - 650 MB & 750 MB - yet 3 hr feature/
Cheers in advance:

Howdy pixel zombie:
yes - burn as playable DVD....
they are XviD /Mp3- quality is very good
Generic MPEG-4, 640 x 480, Unknown
MPEG Layer 3, Stereo, 48.000 kHz
1129.30 kbits/s
has subtitles
- like to keep quality as good as possible just on same disc - if not Toast then ?
Cheers: -
Choose Save as Disc Image from the Toast File menu. When Toast has finished encoding the video and writing the disc image burn it to a DL disc using the Image File setting in the Copy window.
You don't say how long the videos are which is what largely determines how much space is required on the disc.
The MPEG encoder used in Toast 7, 8 and 9 is very good and you have lots of control in the custom encoder settings window. If you don't mind the encoding taking a long time turn on Half-Pel which improves quality. -
