and on the ticket stub was this blurb for www.thefilmconnection.org

Its an edgy global 'concerned citizen' DVD loaner site, with titles like Maya Deren: Experimental Films (The collected shorts of Maya Deren, the mother of the trance film.) being the closest to entertainment, while the forum & reviews tackle things like the 'underbelly of Bollywood'.

Especially useful is the by country index, if you need to find what's up in Iceland lately.

Not for everyone, but serious politicos, filmfolk & collectors may find it worthwhile...
