What software would you use to overlap video?

I want to make a video with 3 of the same person in one frame. What would be the easiest/cheapest software to pull it off?

Any decent editor will do this. How difficult it is to do depends mostly on the planning and the way it is shot. If you can shoot in a controlled environment like a studio with an infinite background or a green screen then it is relatively easy. If you just go and shoot some stuff in your backyard it gets a lot harder.

Much of the clip you posted could be done in front of a white background, processed to bring up the white and contrast, then simply laid down three times. In Vegas you would do this with Event Pan and Crop and/or Track Motion.

If you want really cheap, ZS4 can do some of this type of work.

That would be so simple to do in Premiere, assuming it was shot correctly.
