Though the manufactures claim DVD-R is compatable with most current players, my own experience has been closer to 60%.
Some will play the video, but not display the menus. I don't consider that to be compatable. Even the DVD players list on this forum isn't the most accurate.
I've even tried a DVD-R on two players that were the same make and model, and one had trouble while the other didn't.
So for those who've burned at least several DVD-R's, and played them on many players, what is your success rate?
