  1. Hi guys,
I have installed AutoGK 2.48b.I had a DVD having a runtime of 184 minutes. As quality was what i wanted,i decided to go for a 3cd rip using autogk's 'predefined size' option. Now the problem i am having is that autogk produced 3 output files , 2 avi's of 700mb each(splitted around 1.5 hrs each) and produced the 3rd avi of around 5-6 mins of around 60 megs.
Any idea how to produce three 700 meg files of approx. equal duration using autogk or any other software?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Using a bitrate calculator and 3 CDs size (2100MB) gives you about 1350kbps bitrate. Set your encoder to that and split the output into three parts. That's with 224kbps audio. This from the VideoHelp Bitrate calculator.

  3. Thanks. But I Cannot Set the bitrate manually in AutoGK, so should i set 'Custom File Size' option to 2100mb and then split the file in 3 files of 700megs? Also if i rip the dvd with Subtitles , how do i split the avi file having subtitles of that particular duration?

AutoGK will automatically split the output into 3 parts. I'm not sure what it will do with the subtitles as I haven't had the need to use that option yet. I assume it will split those also.
