Initially when I first started recording w/ my computer the sound quality was perfect, but as of late with whatever type of microphone I use, from a desk mic to microphone headset, the quality has always been the same, fairly good, but with an annoying background noise that is picked up every single time. I have therefore come to conclusion that it is a problem with how I have configured my microphone on my computer, rather than the hardware itself. For anyone also with a Realtek HD Audio sound card, could you please help me with this issue. It is very important that I start recording asap. Will include screenshots to further illustrate the matter if necessary.
