from a football game.
I am capturing using a pinnacle dc30pro.
VCD mpegs can't seem to handle a lot of motion well. Anyone have have experience with filters in this situation? blur? ghost settings?
Any help would be appreciated.

IF you don't want to re-encode the file, try turning down the sharpness on your TV. It won't completely get rid of the blocks, but it will make them less apparent.
